San Francisco - Dec 28-30, 2009

Keith surprised me with a get-a-way to San Francisco for my birthday.

We saw WICKED from the very front row!
We toured ALCATRAZ
on the boat ride over to ALCATRAZ
(in my mind, every time I write ALCATRAZ, I'm saying it with a loud, booming, scary voice...moron)
gross

We enjoyed some fine dining....
...and another fantastic show, OVO by Cirque du Soleil, front row again!
My man doesn't disappoint!
WE LOVED IT!
The two and only times I had visited San Francisco were for 2 of my open heart surgeries.
The first time we tried to tour the city the day before the surgery. It was cloudy and rainy and I remember being very hungry. Never a good thing for my mood! I hated every second of it.
The second trip was no better. Both of our parents were there, but the fact that I was there merely for surgery cast it's own black cloud on my ability to enjoy it.
Keith lived in San Ramon, just outside of the city, when he was younger and has been determined to help me enjoy it.
He succeeded.
Thank you lovey!
